  • Twenty Two Release
    Starts: 5:00 pm
    Ends: June 22, 2015 - 11:00 pm
Location: Avery Brewing: 4910 Nautilus Ct N, Boulder, CO
Description: We'll celebrate our 22nd anniversary on August 8, and to get you pumped for our Anniversary Party, we give you this 100% Brettanomyces drie Fermented Dry-Hopped Wild Ale! This rare beauty clocks in at 6.8% ALC/VOL and will be available on draft and in 22oz bombers starting at 5pm.

While touring Belgium with the greatest of friends in 2006, we came across a stunning creation in a quaint countryside pub that we all agreed was the best brew of the trip. Secreting home a couple of bottles, we intended to cultivate the wild yeast that spontaneously worked its magic in Beersel and propagate our own projects here in Boulder.

FIFTEEN was the first of many concoctions incorporating this borrowed eukaryote. We shared this strain of Brett with our friends who made their own wild, funky and fantastic creations as well. For TWENTY TWO we give you, yet again, Brettanomyces drie and all it delivers in a humble homage to Beersel’s microflora. Thanks once again, Armand! American craft brewing owes you. Big time!

The first batch of Twenty Two will be available on store shelves around CO and CA. To find it near you, check the Avery Brew Finder: http://www.averybrewing.com/find-avery-beer
