Avery Beer Fests!
In the quest for brewing excellence, we share ideas with and learn from our fellow craft brewers. This requires us to frequently sample each other’s creations and discuss our findings. When a deeper analysis is needed, it’s time to freakin’ party!
The Boulder Strong Ale Fest, Boulder SourFest, and Boulder IPA Fest are celebrations of the limitless possibilities in craft brewing, where we invite breweries from all over the country to share their interpretations and iterations of beer genres that we love dearly. All profits are donated to charities, and brewers from around the country often make a visit to Avery Brewing Co to see old friends and taste what they’ve created.

Boulder Strong Ale Fest
Boulder Strong Ale Fest features over 100 epic brews from craft breweries around the country, bringing the beers of brawn and this king of categories to one holding pen for your pleasure. To make it into this fest, a beer must be 8% ABV or higher and represent something very special from the heart and soul of its creator.
The 11th Annual Boulder Strong Ale Fest on March 1st & 2nd benefitted Blue Sky Bridge and was a HUGE success! Thank you to everyone who donated beer, volunteered, and drank with us!
Boulder SourFest
Festival Date: The 4th Annual Boulder SourFest is on June 8th, 2013.
Tickets on Sale: Tickets are now SOLD OUT. (At Strong Ale Fest there were several people who were trying to sell tickets at the door because their friends backed out at the last minute…)
Join us for this celebration of truly experimental beers! All beers here are homegrown in America and feature sour and/or wild recipes made with bacteria and wild yeast. Pucker up Buttercup!
Avery Anniversary Party
Festival Date: Avery’s 20th Anniversary Party is on August 4th, 2013.
Tickets on Sale: Tickets go on sale on June 21 at 9am. Tickets will be available through the Avery Tap Room and online via a ticket link that will be posted here as the event gets nearer.
With your ticket, you’ll receive five 12oz. Avery brews, a big ol’ BBQ spread, and live music! VIP tickets will be available, which include five additional pours from Adam Avery’s Cellar!
Boulder IPA Fest
Festival Date: The 2nd Annual Boulder IPA Fest is on November 9th, 2013.
