  • "Because talking about beer is almost as good as drinking beer."

    Free brewery tours are offered daily from the Avery Tap Room at 4PM on Monday through Friday and 2PM on Saturday and Sunday. Buy a full beer to take with you and get a commemorative Avery Tour Glass to take home for just $2. Tours typically last around 45 minutes.

    No reservation is required - just show up at the Tap Room at least 10 minutes in advance. We have a 30-person capacity per tour with sign up on a first-come first-served basis. We will always do our best to accommodate all of our guests who'd like a tour!

    Please be aware that most of our brewery tour is held outside, so please dress accordingly. We'll provide safety glasses for you to wear while we're in our production facility. We require closed-toed shoes to enter the brewhouse - that means no sandals! Children are always allowed to join (as long as they stick to non-alcoholic beverages).

    Friday, October 24th: Mint Chocolate Stout - A roasty stout, dry-spiced with peppermint and chocolate to create a delicious dessert beer that will drive your taste buds wild!

    Tap Room Rarities:

    Chinook Wet Hop Pale: Our 4th annual brew featuring fresh hops from Niwot Hop Farm. We used 100# of Chinooks in this 20 bbl brew, along with a tad of Honey malt.

    Nugget Wet Hop Amber: The first batch ever featuring only wet hops, all of which were grown at Hire Wire Hop Farm in Paonia, CO. We used 150# of Nuggets in this 25 bbl brew, which also features Cara-45, Melanoidin, Caraaroma, and Dark Aromatic malts.

    Wheel Sucker Wheat: The Tour de BoulDurango is a six-day, 476-mile odyssey over seven mountain passes from Avery Brewing in Boulder to Ska Brewing in Durango to raise money for local charities, and encourage the spirit of collaboration for which the craft beer industry has become known.  This July will mark the 6th year of this annual ride. Wheel Sucker Wheat is the SKAVERY interpretation of the perfect post-ride brew - A badass Bavarian Hefeweizen.

    Lilikoi Kepolo: A truly authentic Belgian-Style wheat cleverly infused with a copious amount of passion fruit.

    GORED!:  A gloriously smooth & spicy sessionable pumpkin ale brewed just in time for pumpkin season. 

    Fall Day IPA: IPA infused with fresh Colorado spruce tips for piney awesomeness.

    Vic Secret Dry-Hopped IPA:  An IPA dry-hopped with an experimental Austrailian hop featuring notes of tropical fruits and pine.

    Überschwein: Double-dry-hopped Hog Heaven, with almost 2 lbs per keg of delicious Columbus dankness. Yeah, we did! It's hoppier than a one-legged kangaroo!

    Eremita VIII - The 8th in our Tap Room only sour series. Sour blonde ale with peaches and apricots aged in neutral oak barrels 6 months.

    Pump[KY]n 
    - Our newest release in our Annual Barrel-Aged Series, this Imperial Porter (at 17.22% abv!) is brewed with pumpkin and spices, was aged in fresh Kentucky Bourbon Barrels for 4 months.

    Rumpkin - A monstrous pumpkin ale (at 16.73% abv!), full of spicy gourdiness and aged in fresh rum barrels for 6 months.

  • Thanks for thinking of us! We have different possibilities on how to frame your party, meeting or event, from our Barrel Room with seating for 30 people to the adjoining warehouse where we've had catered parties for 150 people with live bands. We have ample parking and a myriad of possibilities including band booking and nearby caterers. How many people would you guess? What day and time suit you? If you'd like to come by, see the possibilities and get a feel for the space we would be happy to show you around and talk about things. Just let me know what works for you. This form should answer many of your questions concerning the basic rules of our venue. Larger parties mean more wiggle room and options. Different packages can be discussed.     We can help you book bands for your party if you are interested in having live music.

    Rules:

    • We reserve the right not to serve intoxicated patrons.
    • Safe transportation home must be secured before beer is poured.
    • Parties extended into the warehouse and tents will have different parameters -The base cost must be received in full to book the party date and is non-refundable.
    • Payment in full is due the date of the event.
