"Because talking about beer is almost as good as drinking beer."
Free brewery tours are offered daily from the Avery Tap Room at 4PM on Monday through Friday and 2PM on Saturday and Sunday. Buy a full beer to take with you and get a commemorative Avery Tour Glass to take home for just $2. Tours typically last around 45 minutes.
No reservation is required - just show up at the Tap Room at least 10 minutes in advance. We have a 30-person capacity per tour with sign up on a first-come first-served basis. We will always do our best to accommodate all of our guests who'd like a tour!
Please be aware that most of our brewery tour is held outside, so please dress accordingly. We'll provide safety glasses for you to wear while we're in our production facility. We require closed-toed shoes to enter the brewhouse - that means no sandals! Children are always allowed to join (as long as they stick to non-alcoholic beverages).
This Friday's 5:00 pm Special Tapping:
Friday, July 25th: Tepache - A 5.7% abv Belgian-style blonde ale infused with loads of fresh chopped pineapple - A perfect refreshing summer ale!
Tap Room Exclusives:
4point2 India Pale Ale: Light on alcohol, huge on flavor. Hopped up with Simcoe and Amarillo hops.
14er ESB: Named for the 54 Colorado peaks which tower over 14,000 feet in elevation, our session beer is a spectacular copper hued beauty, with a delicate balance between aromatic maltiness and herbal hops.
Red Table Common: A delectably smooth Colorado Common ale devised & brewed by our very own Tap Room staff. Our twist on a steam beer, where we ferment a lager strain at ale temperatures.
Wheel Sucker Wheat: The Tour de BoulDurango is a six-day, 476-mile odyssey over seven mountain passes from Avery Brewing in Boulder to Ska Brewing in Durango to raise money for local charities, and encourage the spirit of collaboration for which the craft beer industry has become known. This July will mark the 6th year of this annual ride. Wheel Sucker Wheat is the SKAVERY interpretation of the perfect post-ride brew - A badass Bavarian Hefeweizen.
Out of Mind: A big, roasty stout blended with Ozo's single origin Ethiopia Yirgacheffe coffee toddy.
Summer's Day IPA: An aromatic and refreshing IPA spiced with tangerine peel, for a big blast of citrus!
Currawong: A light-bodied & delicate Black Saison, lightly spiced with Tasmanian Pepper Berries.
Trogdor: The Burninator: A gently smoked German-style doppelbock.
Twenty One - Imperial India-Style Brown Ale: TWENTY ONE is built on a foundation of dark specialty malts, framed by sturdy IBUs and crowned with a monumental dry hop addition of two of our favorites, Amarillo and Chinook.
Eremita VII - The 7th installment of our Tap Room only sour series; Eremita VII is a light blonde sour beer (4.5% ABV) aged in oak barrels for 5 months, and then blended with fresh hand-sliced cucumbers and whole-leaf hibiscus flowers; providing an overwhelming cucumber aroma, mild Brettanomyces funk, and enough hibiscus flowers to give it that beautiful Colorado pink sunset hue.
